There were 800+ deviations in my inbox. Now I'm down to 315.
It's not so bad... I'm progressing. After a couple of months of neglecting my dA account, it was kind of expected
It has been raining for a couple of days in a row now, and I'm missing someone really bad, but I guess things happen that way sometimes, you just have to get through it.

Dannngg, I'm waaaay behind on keeping track of things here! I just can't find the time to breathe these days. I'm super busy, tired & motivated at the same time, so maybe that's not so bad.

I actually DO feel inspired and have loads of ideas, but I guess I just have to find the courage to go out and actually take those photos. I feel like I need to steer my photography more to the outside world and get out of my comfort zone of shooting in controlled environment with the people I know, telling them what to do and how to do it. I miss that feeling of satisfaction when producing a good photo.

I think I even have some 'usable' photos in my computer from before, but I can't find the time to look at them and...well, you know, post-process, decide which are the good ones, etc.
I had a mild I-absolutely-hate-every-photo-I-ever-submitted type of crisis, but I moved on successfully, so I hope some of the older photos are going to rise from the dark of my hard disk into the light of the internet and opinions of the masses. Oh well. Off to study some more. B-bye!

I think I'm having the time of my life

1. I'm starting my first year at the university of architecture this fall
2. I'm having more ideas than ever and the number of realizations is definitely improving
3. It's summer
4. I'm hanging out with people I love
5. I'm discovering lots of new music, books and art in general lately that I really enjoy. I also found a new thrill for some things that I've forgotten all about. Re-discovering stuff is great

The photos I'll be uploading next are from today's photoshoot in animal shelter Arka.

I hope you like animals, and I hope I can get you to feel sympathetic by looking at the pictures, and by telling you a story behind them.

It was a wonderful experience, and it broke my heart thinking that all that happy perky adorable dogs, were left outside by insensitive and cruel former owners, with no food or shelter.
I admire the devotion and love the volunteers have for them, and how much effort they devote to keeping the dogs happy, well-fed, and clean.
And they do a hell of a good job, too!

Some of them spend 6 days a week there...and also have a full-time job!

That really impressed me. Lets hope all these dogs & cats find a nice loving home and that in the future Arka receives decent funds from the city. And that people don't abandon animals anymore.
